Working Autoclaves
If the autoclave works but you have it set aside because you bought a larger one or one with more or newer features, then there are a few possibilities. You could sell it, and your dealer might buy it off of you. How desirable the autoclave is would depend on its age and features.
You could also donate it. There are plenty of nonprofits that would put an autoclave to good use.
Nonworking Autoclaves
If the autoclave does not work, again, depending on its features, size, and age, it may be able to be refurbished and then sold. Keep in mind, however, that refurbishing is not a DIY job. Anyone working on an autoclave requires certain certifications which vary by province, and the autoclave, itself, has to be certified.
This is a topic for you to discuss with your dealer. Whoever you use(d) to buy your current autoclave and service it would know something about whether yours can be refurbished and what companies could do so.
Autoclaves are valuable pieces of equipment that perform critical roles in many industries. Your old autoclave likely has value whether it is in working order or not.
