Flight Tabletop Ultrasonic Scaler FMS-2530R2 (Model 2)

The Flight FMS-2530R2 Deluxe Magnetostrictive Scaler Model 2 from Flight Dental Systems is a self-contained magnetostrictive scaler for hygiene and prophylaxis work. It sits on a countertop or cart, connects to a standard power outlet and a clinic water line, and is ready to scale — no delivery-unit integration required. That makes it a practical choice for a new operatory, a satellite or mobile clinic, or a back-up unit for busy hygiene days.

The unit automatically detects and adapts to 25 kHz or 30 kHz inserts, so your team can keep using the Cavitron-style and Hu-Friedy magnetostrictive inserts already in the drawer. Power is regulated from the foot control, and a built-in turbo setting gives extra output for heavy calculus; easing off the pedal returns to the normal power level.

Model 2 adds detachable handpiece tubing, so the handpiece line can be disconnected from the unit for cleaning or replacement.

For infection control, the handpiece sheath unscrews and goes straight into the autoclave. Keeping a spare sheath on hand means one can be processed while the other is in use, so there is no downtime between patients.
