The IRIS LED light, supplied by Flight Dental Systems, adjusts colour temperature from 4,200 to 6,000 K and intensity from 8,000 to 35,000 lux. It emits no UV or IR radiation, has no fan, and its LEDs have a minimum lifetime of about 50,000 hours. Made in Italy. A touchpad gives 3 presets: Anti-Polymerization / Cure Safe (4,200 K) minimizes blue emission to prevent composite curing; Surgical (4,500 K) improves soft tissue contrast; and Color Matching - Natural Daylight (5,500 K) for shade matching.
The light is made entirely of aluminum and can be powder coated in RAL colours. Aluminum handles have removable, autoclavable sheaths. Wall, ceiling, track or unit mounting is available.
