Flight Clave8+ 8L Class S Autoclave for Clinics in Canada

The Flight Clave8+ is a compact 8-litre Class S steam sterilizer for dental, medical, veterinary, podiatry, chiropody, tattoo and beauty offices where counter space is tight. Flight Dental Systems is a Canadian-owned manufacturer based in Brampton, Ontario. You'll see this model listed as "Flight Clave 8", "Clave8" or "Clave 8+"; the current version is the Clave8+, which adds a built-in compressor to the Clave8 for faster drying.

An independent steam generator injects pulses of steam into the chamber (positive pressure displacement), removing air more completely before sterilization starts. Flight says steam-injection pressure pulsing reduces maintenance and speeds up the process.

Why clinics choose the Clave8+

Fast turnaround in a small footprint

Flight rates the unwrapped Flash cycle at 12 minutes. Its manual lists a 4-minute hold at 134 °C, with total Flash cycle times of 10 to 20 minutes depending on load.

Instruments come out dry

The integrated compressor drives air-assisted drying with the door closed. Flight says this cuts closed-door drying from about 60 minutes to about 30 minutes, and a HEPA filter keeps the drying air clean.

Cycle records without extra software

Each cycle is saved to a USB flash drive as a .txt file that opens on any PC, and can be printed. The internal memory stores the last 9,999 cycles. Automatic records support inspection readiness for College and Health Department audits. They are not a compliance guarantee, so please check your own college's or health authority's requirements.

No extra bottles on the counter

Clean distilled water and used water are held in internal tanks with an auto drain, and Flight states a daily Bowie-Dick test is not required for this Class S unit.
